The Robert Sorby External Shear Scraper Cutter features a square profile set at 45°, specifically engineered for shear scraping the external curves of any project. This version is enhanced with a titanium nitride coating for increased wear resistance and durability. A high-speed steel option is also available.
Sharpening & Maintenance:
Maintain optimal performance by lightly and regularly sharpening the cutter around its profile using a diamond file or honing stone. Sharpening can be performed with the cutter mounted on the tool to ensure convenience and accuracy.
