The Robert Sorby Half Radius Cutter is engineered for scraping and refining interior curves on small-scale projects. Its profile allows for controlled material removal, producing smooth, consistent surfaces along concave contours.
Sharpening & Maintenance:
To maintain optimal performance and prolong the life of your cutter, lightly and regularly sharpen the top face using a diamond file or honing stone. Sharpening can be done while the cutter is mounted on the tool, or you can use the 472 cutter holder to reshape the profile with the Robert Sorby ProEdge system or a grinding wheel.
