Description
Always have an extra sharp blade on hand with this replacement plane blade for your Taytools and other bench plane. Iron are 0.125″ thick. Irons are made from hardened tool steel hardened and tempered to Rockwell 55-60. Bevel ground to 25 degrees. Iron will need final honing to achieve a razor sharp edge.
Note: Many vintage Stanley planes have a very narrow mouth opening. These and many other modern irons will not fit through the mouth without additional widening with a file.
