The Robert Sorby Mini Round Nose Cutter is specifically designed for creating fine, detailed coves on small-scale projects. Its rounded cutting profile allows for precise shaping and controlled material removal, enabling turners to achieve clean, consistent contours in confined areas.
Sharpening & Maintenance:
To maintain optimal performance and prolong the life of your cutter, lightly and regularly sharpen the top face using a diamond file or honing stone. Sharpening can be done while the cutter is mounted on the tool, or you can use the 472 cutter holder to reshape the profile with the Robert Sorby ProEdge system or a grinding wheel.
