Niles Stainless Steel Threaded Inserts – 3/8″ X 16 Tpi, 5-Pack

Description

Compatible with all threaded Niles Bottle Stoppers products, including stoppers, openers, and can tab pulls.

Each insert measures 5/8″ in height and features a 3/8″ × 16 TPI internal thread. For installation, use a 7/16″ stub drill bit to create the pilot hole. The pilot hole should be 3/16″ to 1/4″ deeper than the height of the insert to allow for air displacement during installation.

To ensure a secure fit and prevent loosening due to natural wood movement, apply an adhesive when installing the insert. A 5-minute epoxy is recommended for best results. The integrated cap helps prevent adhesive from entering the threads during installation.
