Narex Solid Brass Eccentric Head Marking Gauge With Adjustable Wheel

This solid brass wheel marking gauge is the newest installment from Narex Tools in the Czech Republic. The off center or eccentric placement of the beam in the head provides a larger registration surface and keeps the gauge from rolling off your bench. The 1-1/2” diameter head is precision machined solid, polished brass. The 7-1/2” long x 5/16” beam is polished stainless steel with metric and imperial graduation marks. Graduation marks extend to 5”, but the maximum distance that can be scribed is 6” The 3/8” cutter is hardened tool steel and can be fully retracted in the head to protect when not in use. The oversize 5/8” diameter solid brass thumb screw securely locks the head to the beam. This tool fits the hand perfectly with excellent mass weighing in at 8 ounces.
