Magnetic Base:
This miniature magnetic base is one of the most compact and economical magnetic bases available today. It has an anodized aluminum upright attachment piece and a powerful rare earth magnetic base with 40 pounds of holding power. It is compact measuring just 1-1/4” high and 1” in diameter. The upright attachment piece contains one mounting location tapped with 1/4-20 threads. This compact magnetic base will accommodate dial indicators with a lug back and ensure they stay in place for accurate measurements. A dial indicator can pivot a full 170 degrees.
Dial indicator features:
- Body is made of machined anodized aluminum and NOT plastic
- Vertical lug back configuration
- 1″ of total travel with graduations in 0.0005″ (that’s half a thousandth) per line
- Accuracy guaranteed to 0.001″ per 1″ of travel
- Each indicator comes with inspection certificate
- Spindle rack pinions and gear trains are made of high-quality steel components ensuring long life
- Does not come with plastic case.
