Description
These small steel Japanese clamps, or Hatagane, are prized for their ability to apply gentle, precise pressure to clamp small, delicate workpieces. Hatagane clamps combine quick, parallel jaw closure with adjustable clamping force, making them ideal for fine woodworking, box making, repair jobs, model building, and intricate joinery where larger clamps would get in the way or be cumbersome. They excel at pulling joints tight without twisting or distorting the workpiece.
The plated steel is non-corrosive and will not react with glues, while the parallel jaw design provides good alignment and reference compared to many Western clamps.
