Description
This straight edge has a hardened, satin chrome finished blade that is ground and lapped for straightness and parallelism and has true right angle on all edges with one long beveled edge. Beveled edge is graduated in 64ths and is precision photo etched and then black filled for easy readability. Rule is 24-3/16″ long, 1-9/16″ wide and 3/16th thick and weigh in at almost 3 pounds. This is a substantial rule. Accuracy is guaranteed to be +/- 0.0015″ (one and a half thousandths of an inch) over the length of the blade. Rule come in an imitation leather pouch to store when not in use. Has a hanging home on one end. This straight edge is perfect for setting up machines, checking work for straightness and scribing and cutting straight lines. This rule is US engineered and manufactured to strict tolerances in factories overseas. This is a well made and precise rule and offers a reasonable alternative for anybody unwilling to spend the money required to purchase a more premium line of US made precision tools.
