Description
This professional-grade, carbide-tipped adjustable countersink features a two-part split design with a 90° cutting angle. It clamps directly onto standard drill bits ranging from 3–8 mm (approx. 1/8″–5/16″) in diameter, including intermediate sizes like 5.5 mm (~7/32″), allowing you to drill and countersink in a single operation. An Allen key is included for easy adjustment.
To install, push the countersink onto the drill bit from behind, ensuring the cutting edge is in front. Once attached, it delivers the following drill bit and countersink size combinations:
- Ø3 mm (1/8″) drill = Ø12 mm (0.47″) countersink
- Ø4 mm (5/32″) = Ø12.5 mm (0.49″)
- Ø5 mm (3/16″) = Ø13.5 mm (0.53″)
- Ø6 mm (15/64″) = Ø14.5 mm (0.57″)
- Ø7 mm (9/32″) = Ø16 mm (0.63″)
- Ø8 mm (5/16″) = Ø17.5 mm (0.69″)
