Description
The Carter AccuRight® Log Mill™ is a sled system used to cut raw wood logs square so they can be processed via the band saw into usable lumber or project wood. Great for turners looking to cut a flat into a round log for natural edge bowls, circle blanks, of just about anything where a flat face is needed.
The user secures a log or any irregular shaped piece of wood to the Log Mill via the clamping assembly and saws off one side. Then the log is rotated back on the Log Mill, flat side down, to make a second cut, creating a perfect 90-degree wedge on one side of the log. Then, removing the log from the Log Mill, this allows the user to place the raw wood flat on their bandsaw table and securely against their bandsaw fence to re-saw off parallel pieces for projects.
