This light caramel malt produces golden hues, and has a mellow, candy like sweetness and a mild toffee flavour. It will contribute more flavour than a carapils, but not as much as darker caramel malts.

- 5-15% – Variety of ales including Pale Ales and bitter IPAs, through dark ales like Porters and Stouts
