These adjustable clamp-on trammel heads are the perfect tool for measuring, marking, or scribing circles and arcs beyond the range of a standard compass. With a custom-length, shop-made beam, you can create unlimited arcs. The heads clamp onto any wood beam ranging from 1/4 inch to 1-3/16 inches wide.
The set includes two trammel heads—one featuring an integrated pencil holder that accommodates standard wooden pencils. Made from durable cast zinc with a baked-on powder coat finish, these trammel heads are built to last. The knobs and points are blackened, while the hardened, sharp-ground points allow for precise scribing on steel, sheet metal, or aluminum. Each head measures up to 4-3/4 inches in length.
